Includes refreshments and a light lunch. All materials and tools are provided and you will take home your own print and lino block. A great introduction to two colour lino printing, ideal for those with some experience but will also be suitable for beginners. In this six hour workshop you will learn how to design for two colours, carve and print two separate lino blocks, which you can play with to create fun and interesting prints. You will take away your own handmade prints and carved blocks. Mandy is a printmaker and founder of Judily Designs and based in Bolton. Her work is inspired by nature, particularly the plants we find in our locality, our gardens and homes, she usually uses a mixture of relief and screen printing. If you’d like to bring any ideas we will be working on lino blocks 102 x 152mm, the theme is open.
