Our Services

Cafe Create is the heart of CreateBolton, it's where 'creationships' are formed, where friendships are made, and where you will feel right at home.

We provide a wide range of creative experiences in the form of workshops throughout the cafe opening hours. Take a look at what we offer - you can book and pay via this link in the main menu.

This service sits under the Create Community and supports and develops artists with a learning disability.

We have a history of working with Bolton Hospice Well-Being Hub, providing creative support through different services at different times. We also specifically work with their Bereavement Group.

Our very own brass/percussion band for adults with a learning disability. Meets Wednesday in term-time between 3.30pm and 5pm in Cafe Create/Rudkin Room. Email Carol for more information.

The Boltones celebrated their 10th Anniversary in 2025.

This is a bespoke service supporting people who might feel lonely or isolated at this time, their mental health might not be what they would want it to be. Access to this group is by invite only. ​​

We are proud to provide a Paint a Pot experience for young and old and everyone in between. This is available whenever the cafe is open (Wednesday - Saturday 10am to 2pm)

Our shop supports local artists and stocks the creative works of art that are often made in and through our services. There is nowhere else quite like this in Bolton. The difference this makes to local artists and craftspeople is unmeasurable.

We make a point of capturing stories that express the difference that our services are making. We share a particular story every month in our news bulletin and during 2026 we aim to publish some of these. It really is so important to us that we are able to share the good news!

As our services often provide support to people that could be deemed to be vulnerable or at risk, we provide different levels of Safeguarding Training for our staff and volunteers and we ensure that DBS checks are completed where appropriate. You can find our Adult Safeguarding Policy here
