Learn the art of lino printing and bring your artistic visions to life. Suitable for beginners & people wanting a refresher. Mandy will teach the basics; how to trace your image onto a lino block, how to use tools to carve, create a basic registration plate, inking and printing. You’ll take home your own print and carved lino block, so you can print at home. This includes all materials, refreshment on arrival and a light lunch. What to bring? Either an image/design sized 102 x 152 or reference images What makes a good lino print? The balance of light and dark, variations in texture made from the cutting tools, contrast of bold shapes v detail, flow and thickness of line, composition/balance.
